From behind the Brasov sign in Brasov, Romania (think like the hollywood sign). This was taken after a wonderful walk up the mountain (so what if everyone else took the cable car? the walk was awesome)
Jaime feeding a donkey at a castle in Transylvania. I'd have to give it some more thought to remember what it was called. It'll come to me. This was taken shortly before another donkey came up and bit my hand. But then again, we WERE feeding them.
ed. The place was called Rasov
This is one of the most (if not the most) beautiful castles I have seen. Again, I'd have to research to remember the name, but it was amazing. Unfortunately we got there too late to go inside, but it also meant that there was no one around, so it was really pleasant. It's in Transylvania too. We went to it the day that we hired a car out of Brasov. It's in the town of Sighisoara, which was wholly unimpressive, but the castle was wonderful.
this is kiwi Christine, in Eger, just out of Budapest, while her fiance and I made her do a drunk test. This was in a place called the Valley of the Beautiful Women, and it's renowned for its wine cellars (we spent the day on the wine cellar road, going from one to another, testing their wares - very tasty and very cheap).
This is Christine, Josh, and I in Eger during one of the wine tastings. Needless to say, it was a riot.

w00t! first post!
ohh, wait. did i read what i thought i read in the last post comments there??
i did nothing of the sort!
You never told me a donkey bit you! Didn't I teach you how to feed a horse - always with a flat hand. Learned that as a kid - they still bite you occasionally though. Beautiful photos! Maybe I should start saying Woot too - it sounds like the exclusive kind of club I'd enjoy belonging to.
haha..it was with a flat hand, but it still bit me. just gnawed on my fingers...didn't hurt though.
lol, Andrew, is my mum allowed to start saying woot too?
Nobody should be allowed to say "woot". Maybe that's why the donkey bit you. It was trying to teach you that lesson.
Hi i was just surfing on Technorati and I founfdyour blog.
I was wondering.. how did you decided to visit Sighisoara? Was it a recommendation from someone or maybe a travel agency ?
thanks,
Bogdan
ZOMG!
the woot is spreading.
and donkeys are stubborn. no wonder it didint respond well to the woot. now a horse would of been happier with it.
i could go on for weeks with different l33t speak
So, the question that's been on my mind is- are you actually going to come back to Canada?
You're on the right track Teagan. She's actually on the run and she's using this blog to throw them off her trail. She's really somewhere in Turkmenistan right now. Sorry J...I guess I shouldn't have said that! And to bold it no less...what was I thinking?
Bogdan - After traveling in Bulgaria and Romania for a while, I just met quite a few people who said it was worth going to. I haven't really been dealing with travel agencies on this trip - it's wholly been word of mouth.
As for you, Andrew - of course the woot is spreading. With such ambassadors as you, roosh, and adam, what did you expect? =) I'll try it on a horse and see if it bites me....if it does, I'm sure that tells us something, but I have no clue what.
D, just for revealing my location, I'm cutting you off from the family. (can I do that, mum?) I have no brother! But seriously, of course I'm coming back! Remember, I didn't bring very many clothes with me, so I'd have to come back to get my things...haha...just joking. I have found a couple places I think I could live (at least for a while), but don't worry, I'm not planning on staying. =) not now, anyway.
Glad you are coming home! It would be nice to have equal "girl power" for a while...
Yes, you can disown your brother if you wish. You might get lonely down the line though...
Keep having fun!
Love ya
Mum
